In April 1946, Marie Majerová Jan Weiss to write a screenplay for the film Siren, which is typical of its author, especially in the looting scene, which recalls the crucial passage from Weiss’s short story Bláznivý regiment (A Crazy Regiment).

The short movie DREAM should be the connection for shooting the adaptation of the novel by Jan Weiss, Dům o 1000 patrech (The House of One Thousand Floors). DREAM wants to persuade future producers not only about the screenwriting and directing abilities of M. J. Kohout, but also about the film-like character of Jan Weiss’s work.
