The radio play Poselství z hvězd (A Message from the Stars) was translated to German as Kosmische Botschaft by Holger Lohe and Heinrich Kunstmann and produced by Gerlach Fiedler with Will Quadfliege, Maria Sebald, Willy Maertens and others for Deutsche Demokratische Republik/UKW broadcasting on March 16, 1958.

The adaptation of the novel Dům o tisíci patrech (The House of One Thousand Floors) was at least twice broadcast by the Bayrische Rundfunk broadcasting (Bundes Republik Deutschland) in the 1980s.

For the French Radio Broadcasting, the novel Dům o tisíci patrech (The House of One Thousand Floors) was translated and dramatized by Charles Gilbert, and the short story Lojzka was translated and dramatized by Ernest Bismuth.
